Service Technician

Job Title and Overview

Magic Valley Dairy Systems is a leading provider of dairy services in the Jerome, Idaho area. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients while maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment.

The Service Technician has a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for the effective installation, maintenance, and repair of our products and equipment. This position requires strong technical acumen, adept problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service. As a Service Technician, you will be tasked with diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting routine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring outstanding service delivery to our valued clients.

Essential Job Functions

  • Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment related to agricultural facilities, including but not limited to electrical systems, vacuum pump systems, compressed air systems, water systems, motors, pumps, panels, PLCs, refrigeration, variable frequency drives, soft starters, and pump panels.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to enhance equipment longevity and reliability.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to service calls, addressing customer concerns and efficiently resolving technical challenges.
  • Interpret installation and instruction manuals to facilitate accurate repairs.
  • Utilize internet resources for research to obtain information and resources necessary for effective repairs.
  • Maintain meticulous records of service activities, encompassing service reports, equipment status, and utilized parts.
  • Engage in effective communication with vendors and customers.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, product advancements, and technical innovations to continually enhance expertise and provide unparalleled service.

Service Technician role:
